Certified Passivhaus of a single family house

First construction project of a Passivhaus Certified single-family house in the City of Brión. The project develops a new single-family house on two heights, regular geometry and compact volumetry, orienting its façade towards the south, which optimizes the solar capture in the  main rooms. In turn, cross ventilation with the north façade is favoured, by opening smaller gaps, which, due to this limitation in size, reduces energy losses and improves behavior bioclimatic of the building.

The projected house is developed in a compact volume that allows greater efficiency of the air conditioning systems, complying with the applicable urban ordinances and the parameters related to habitability and functionality.

The main access is through the north façade, towards Rúa Aldea Quintáns, through which there is also access to the plot, but they have left also accesses through the south façade, from the porch and directly from the bedrooms.

The design of the house adapts perfectly to the environment of the sorroundings and to the existing buildings close by. The energy efficiency of the house has been certified with the Passivhaus standard.
